Nishal Jeyanth J is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. His passion lies in exploring languages and the natural world. He earned his Master of Arts in English from the University of Madras, Chennai.

Mr. Jeyanth leads a variety of courses, including “Language and Linguistics”, “Environmental Science and Human Rights”, “Methodology of Literary Studies”, ”Introducing Language and Literature” and “Comparative Literature” at the BA level and ”Literary Criticism” at the MA level. He also contributes to the common course papers for undergraduate programs.

He encourages students to critically examine and his teaching methods aim to develop strong analytical and communication skills while nurturing a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Beyond academia, Jeyanth is a passionate advocate for environmental awareness and animal rights. He enjoys exploring the world through maps, finding inspiration in music and delving into the intricacies of voice recording and speech modulation.
